What to Expect from The Oscar Buzz This Season

As they would say, it's been a summer. While it may have not entirely been the most exciting stretch of time, it was definitely a chance to have some fun on The Oscar Buzz, ranking Best Picture winners, and doing everything to make the upcoming season all the more exciting. But here's the thing. I am as confident as you as to what's going to happen on the road ahead, which is not much of anything. It means that any regular plans may need to shift at any time to compensate. But for now, I am here to announce something significant in regards to how this website will run. Yes, things will be kicking into higher gear starting in September, and I'm proud to say that there will be some semblance of regular columns to match. What are they? Hello everyone and welcome to 2019! I hope that you have been enjoying yourselves as you get acquainted with the new traditions of a new year. More than any other year, I felt it was important to share with you a simple truth: The Oscar Buzz is going once again through some changes. As much as I've tried to do everything that I've enjoyed about the website, I've found it often difficult to meet my many deadlines when paired with my personal life, which was especially hectic in 2018. The good news is that I'm not going away. However, there's going to be a readjustment of sorts that will impact the output. I apologize for this change, but it's maybe necessary to maintain quality work while I move ahead in other things. What's changing? Read on to find out.

Tomorrow marks the end of August and the summer movie season. For those who enjoy Oscar culture, it's the perfect time to begin warming up for another fun season full of big contenders. Who knows what lies ahead in September and onward, and what already has made a strong case for itself. Still, there's a lot to look forward to with The Oscar Buzz, as per usual. While it's been a bit too quiet around here (I apologize), I hope to begin picking up the slack as the season gets more interesting and the prognostication becomes more serious. But before things get too serious, what is there to look forward to? It's time to start the guessing game with a round of goodies coming as soon as this weekend.

Hey everyone. I'm taking this opportunity to give a quick update on my future with The Oscar Buzz. I know that I generally take a month off, but this year has been a little hectic between personal affairs, including college. You've probably also noticed that I haven't exactly been quiet either, choosing to release columns for A24 A-to-Z and Composing Greatness with some regularity. Well, I am proud to say that I am planning on coming back gradually as the summer approaches with regular coverage, reviews, and all things that are fun about film. I have a few changes as well in store, all of which I will get into after the jump.
