For those who watch The Oscars with due diligence, there is likely one thing that feels like a punchline at this point: The Academy Museum. It was announced eight years ago during the ceremony as a place to house movie props and give guests immersive experiences to enhance the value of film. It's been pushed back for roughly two years now, but according to an announcement at the 92nd Academy Awards, the wait is almost over. In fact, it's going to happen within the year. In some ways, it has become a tradition for the ceremony to announce updates on The Academy Museum. For now, it's a good time to start looking at available days to book and see the many exhibits that promise to be exemplary.
